The Jordanian Armed Forces General Command today signed a grant protocol agreement whereby China will supply the Jordanian Armed Forces with engineering and construction equipment worth about six and a half million dollars. According to a press release the protocol was signed for the Jordanian Armed Forces by the Chief of Strategic Planning at the Jordanian General Command Brigadier Omar Khalidi and the for the Chinese side by Chinese Ambassador in Amman Yue Xiaoyong. The Jordanian Armed Forces also signed a cooperation agreement with its French counterpart on the management and the work of the French military field hospital in Zaatari Syrian refugee camp to provide the best medical and health services and treatment for Syrian refugees. The agreement was signed on the Jordanian side by Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Ziad al-Majali and for the French side by Junior Minister for Veterans at the French Ministry of Defence Kader Arif.
