Jordan asserted on Thursday the importance of promoting cooperation with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).

This came in a meeting between Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour and COMESA chief Sindiso Ngwenya.

The meeting took up ways to increase trade exchange between both sides.

They signed a cooperation agreement in 2007.
