The government on Wednesday condemned an arson attack by Jewish settlers on the Latrun Monastery, west of occupied Jerusalem. Government Spokesperson Samih Maaytah said the attack violated international law and was a stark violation of freedom of religion. The professional associations also condemned the attack on Wednesday, describing it as “terrorist and cowardly”.
