Jordanian Senate President Abdul Raouf Al-Rawabdeh met here today with the visiting chairman of the state council in the Sultanate of Oman (parliament) Yahya bin Mahfouz Al-Mundhiri and his accompanying delegation. Discussions during the meeting focused on ways to promote parliamentary cooperation between the two countries. Al-Rawabdeh called for enhancing parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, while Al-Mundhiri expressed his country 's keenness to strengthen ties with Jordan in various areas, especially the parliamentary field in addition to strengthen co-ordination in order to serve the security and stability of the region and to enhance solidarity and joint Arab action.
