Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Tuesday met Albanian Foreign Minister Edmond Panariti and reviewed bilateral ties and ways to cement them.At the meeting, attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs, Nasser Judeh, Ensour said Jordan was keen to enhance its cooperation with Albania, especially in the economic, educational and tourism domains.The premier also spoke about the latest developments in the Middle East, mainly the Palestinian issue, which is at the core of the conflict in the region.“The region will not enjoy peace and stability until a just solution (for the Palestinian issue) is reached,” he said.Further, Ensour spoke about the humanitarian repercussions of the Syrian crisis on Jordan. He said the Kingdom is currently hosting large numbers of Syrian refugees, who add to the economic and social burden on the country.Additionally, the visiting Albanian minister said his country was ready to enhance ties and cooperation with Jordan in the economic and tourism domains, pointing out that the two countries shared common interests.He congratulated Jordan on the recent successful parliamentary elections and expressed appreciation for the Kingdom’s reform efforts.King Abdullah, he said, has a clear vision for leading Jordan and enabling its march ahead, making Jordan a model for the region.
