Minister of Justice Bassam Talhouni received on Wednesday European Union’s Ambassador to Jordan Juanna Veronica and discussed the criminal justice project and other judiciary support programs.The minister said that the new conception of reform requires extensive cooperation between the Kingdom’s concerned authorities and the EU, adding that the reform process in Jordan is continuing, including in the judicial sector.The criminal justice reform, he affirmed, must rely on international criteria that respect human rights and suit the reality.Talhouni reiterated Jordan’s keenness to boost cooperation with the EU in the legal and judicial sectors, benefiting both sides.Veronica said that the EU was keen to boost ties with Jordan in various domains, expressing admiration over the launch of Ministry of Justice’s strategy for the coming three years
