Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Atef Tarawneh on Tuesday received the Bahraini King’s Media Advisor Nabil Al Hamar and briefed him on the Jordanian expertise in parliamentary and partisan politics domain.Tarawneh highlighted the role of parliaments in international diplomacy and relations. Jordan, he added, is pressing ahead with reforms, noting the support for partisan political life and political development, the ultimate goal of which is to realize the programme-based parliamentary governments, that could be monitored and held accountable by the parliament.Tarawneh and Al Hamar exchanged views on the latest issues of common interest, stressing the importance of exchanging visits and continuing consultations on various issues at international arenas.Al Hamar expressed appreciation for the Jordanian parliamentary and partisan expertise as well as the reform process. He said that his country was keen to benefit from such expertise, especially in the field of political development.
