The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has sworn in Ahmad Al Hindawi of Jordan as his Envoy on Youth. Al Hindawi is a strong youth advocate and brings to this position extensive knowledge of and commitment to working on youth issues at the local, regional and international levels. Al Hindawi said he was happy to serve the UN in general and youth in particular and to achieve the secretary general’s five-year goals on youth.
