Jordanian Customs Department (JCD) cadres thwarted an attempt to smuggle 22,850 cartons of cigarettes concealed inside a car coming from Ruwaished district. The custom's information department said that the penalties levied on the seized items amounted to JD381,000, adding that the case was referred to the JCD Prosecutor General to complete the necessary actions against violators.
