Jordanian King Abdullah II hailed the development in US-Egyptian relations.

"We are in dire need of this improvement in the US-Egyptian relations, especially within the framework of challenges faced by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in Sinai and Libya," Jordan's King said.

He made such remarks in a television interview with Fox News channel Tuesday during which he touched on the recent developments in the Middle East region and Jordan's stance towards them.
