The Jordanian King Abdullah II and Turkish President Abdullah Gul discussed on Sunday recent political developments in the Middle East and a number of issues of mutual interest. In a press statement, the Royal Diwan here also noted that the two leaders mulled the special ties linking the two nations and means to bolster bilateral cooperation in different domains. The Jordanian king had been on a visit to Egypt yesterday, in the first visit since the interim president, Adli Mansour, assumed his duties.
