Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Mohammad Morsy on Thursday discussed the recent regional developments and the situation in Gaza in particular. Speaking over phone, the two leaders stressed the necessity to use “all possible diplomatic means to stop the Israeli aggression and escalation in Gaza and serve the Palestinians’ interests,” according to Jordan’s state-run Petra News Agency. They also touched on bilateral relations, especially in the economic field and agreed to continue coordination and consultation on all regional issues to better serve the interests of the two countries.
