Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh on Thursday met with British Foreign Secretary, William Hague, and discussed bilateral ties and regional developments. Talks during the meeting also covered the situation in Syria and its humanitarian impact on Jordan which is hosting around 450,000 Syrian refugees on its territory despite the Kingdom’s economic hardships. Judeh reviewed Jordan’s efforts, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II to push the peace process forward and re-launch peace negotiations. Judeh also met with British Home Secretary Theresa May and discussed bilateral relations in various spheres. The meeting also touched upon the situation in Syria and its humanitarian impact on Jordan.
