Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh on Friday conveyed a written message from His Majesty King Abdullah II to Lebanese President Michel Suleiman on the strong and historical relations between Jordan and Lebanon. During their meeting on Friday, Judeh and Suleiman discussed the distinguished ties between the two countries, challenges the two countries face as well as a number of common concern issues, mainly the situation in Syria and efforts to end the bloodshed in the neighboring country. Judeh briefed the Lebanese president on efforts Jordan exerts, under the leadership of His Majesty King II to stop violence and prevent further deterioration in Syria. Suleiman stressed the strong \"brotherly\" ties between the two countries, affirming keenness to continue coordination on various common concern issues. He also praised efforts King Abdullah exerts on the Syrian crisis, noting the huge number of Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon. Judeh affirmed the need to start a political track that maintains Syria\'s territorial and people unity and includes all components of the Syrian society.
