Justice Minister Mahfouz Saber received Sunday Dutch Ambassador to Egypt Gerard Steeghs for talks on means of promoting bilateral relations.
The Dutch envoy presented a cooperation program to exchange the best practices regarding lawsuit management at courts.
The meeting also took up the latest developments regarding the parliamentary elections in Egypt in light of the top court's rulings annulling articles of their governing law.
The new amended law of the parliamentary elections will be submitted for societal dialogue as soon as it is completed to reach consensus among political powers, the justice minister said.
The meeting also took up the issue of illegal Egyptian migrants in the Netherlands and ways to curtail the phenomenon.
