Gunmen fired on a wedding party in eastern Afghanistan Thursday, killing nine people, authorities said. The attack occurred early Thursday in a home in Nangarhar province, CNN reported, quoting a spokesman for the provincial governor. Five more people were wounded in the attack. All the dead victims were relatives of a local government official, the report said. No one had yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
