The Foreign Minister, Ali Karti, is due to leave Sunday evening for the Nigerian capital, Abuja, to hand over a message from the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, to the Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan. SUNA learned that the visit of Karti to Nigeria comes in the context of the consultations between the President of the Republic and the African leaders and aims to acquaint them with the political developments in Sudan and to discuss progress of the bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.
