Kazakh First Deputy Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev will visit China from Aug. 23 to 25 at the invitation of Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli.

Sagintayev and Zhang will co-chair the 7th meeting of the China-Kazakhstan Cooperation Committee, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced on Thursday.

The committee, established in 2004, oversees bilateral cooperation ranging from trade, transport to science and technology.
