The US Secretary of State John Kerry started a visit to Israel on Tuesday, on the eve of a trip by the US President Barack Obama. Kerry will accompany Obama on a visit to Jordan on Friday and will return to Jerusalem for talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday, seeking a resumption of the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, according to Haaretz newspaper.
