US Secretary of State John Kerry Monday telephoned President Mahmoud Abbas to brief him on his visit to Jordan and Saudi Arabia.Abbas and Kerry discussed efforts to push the peace process forward.Kerry held two rounds of talks with Abbas on Friday and Saturday before travelling to Jordan and Saudi Arabia on Sunday. He also met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
