US Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday phoned foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) over the political framework agreement on Iran's nuclear program.
In a statement, the GCC General Secretariat said that Kerry briefed the Arab Gulf foreign ministers on the deal and stressed his country's commitment to the security and stability of the Gulf states.
He also expressed the US administration's desire to strengthen consultation, coordination and cooperation with the GCC states to maintain security and stability in this vital region of the world.
