Foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) received have calls from US Secretary of State John Kerry, who posted them on details of the agreement reached with Iran about its nuclear program.

The GCC top diplomats greatly appreciated Kerry's move, said the council's Secretary General Abdel Latif bin Rashed al Zabani Wednesday.

Hopefully, the agreement would help remove fears about the Iranian program
in a way that would achieve security and stability in the region, Zabani said.

He also wished the deal would prevent a nuclear race in the region.
