US Secretary of State John Kerry met in Rome Monday night with his counterparts from Qatar and Italy, Foreign Ministers Mohamed al Thani and Paulo Gentilioni, along with UN SRSG for Libya, Martin Kobler, to review counter-Daesh efforts, the US State Department reported.
The talks also tackled the current political situation in Libya, and how the international community could further support Libyan efforts to move forward with its new Government of National Accord.
The ministers will urge Libya's Presidency Council to agree on a final cabinet to submit to the county's legislature, the House of Representatives, for a final vote on Monday February 8.
