US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in the UK on Friday for talks with Philip Hammond of Britain on the Syrian conflict and the refugee crisis.

Kerry and Hammond will be discussing "bilateral and global issues"” on Saturday, according to US State Department spokesperson John Kirby.

Kerry is also scheduled to meet UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East region and issues of mutual concern.
