Khaled Ali, the former presidential candidate and member of the general secretariat of the Socialist Popular Alliance Party (SPAP), was discharged from hospital after being treated after sustaining injury during Fridays protests in Moqattam neighborhood. In statements, the party\'s spokeswoman Mona Ezzat denied reports that Ali was shot during the demonstrations. She pointed out that a number of the party\'s members were also injured during the violence.
