Five trucks, loaded with food, blankets and clothes from Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) arrived here on Saturday to aid the Syrian refugees. The aid items will be directly delivered to the Syrian refugees across the Jordanian villages with the cooperation of the Kuwaiti embassy in Jordan and the Jordan National Red Crescent Society, Head of Public Relations at KRCS Khalid Al-Zaid told KUNA. He added "We came here in coordination with Jordan's Red Crescent to alleviate the suffering of our Syrian brothers who are in dire need for help." Al-Zaid expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kuwaiti philanthropists who donated such aid in response to the relief appeal made by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to aid the Syrian people. He also stressed the society's keenness on standing side by side with the Syrian nation, noting that it is seeking through its continuous humanitarian programs to aid the Syrian refugees wherever they are. Al-Zaid said there will be more aid in the near future as the assistance that was recently delivered to Jordan is part of the society's humanitarian aid programs.
