Kuwait's Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Lieutenant General Sulaiman Al-Fahad, accompanied by a high-level delegation, arrived here Saturday on an official visit for security talks with Bangladeshi officials.
The five-day visit aims at exchanging expertise and information as well as enhancing security cooperation between the two countries.
Lieutenant General Sulaiman and the delegation are set to meet with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed, Chief of Army Staff General Iqbal Karim and a number of senior officials. The delegation, headed by Sulaiman, was received by Kuwait's Ambassador to Bangladesh Ali Al-Dhufairi and General Mohammad Mahfouth, assistant to Chief of Army Staff.
The delegation includes senior officials at the Interior Ministry.
