Kuwait called on the international community to supports human rights in Somalia, in the session of the UN\'s Human Rights Council on Thursday. The international community has the duty of supporting Somalia in the human rights field, and also aid the Somali government to develop different sectors in the country, especially that the UN had finally succeeded in achieving political stability in Somalia, said the Third Secretary at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the UN Haidar Abu Al-Hassan. Kuwait supports all resolutions issued by the council regarding the humanitarian situation in Somalia, said the secretary, adding that Kuwait is calling on all countries in charge to hold talks to agree on the best ways to support human rights i Somalia. Kuwait is monitoring the current developments in Somalia and its government\'s efforts to reform the social and economic fields, which were badly affected by long years of armed conflicts, noted the secretary. Kuwait is also encouraging Somalia to abide by the UN\'s resolutions to rebuild all sectors of the the country, said Abu Al-Hassan.
