Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah and visiting United States Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter discussed here on Monday several topics of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the two sides also reviewed military cooperation relations as well as ways and means of promoting and consolidating them between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Khaled Al-Khoder and senior military sofficials.
Carter and his accompanying delegation arrived in Kuwait late Sunday and were received at the airport by Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah and senior army officials.
