Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday received a phone call from British Prime Minister David Cameron over the terrorist attack that targeted a Shiite mosque in the gulf country.

Cameron stressed that the UK strongly deplores the attack, asserting his country's support for Kuwait in its fight against terrorism.

The top British diplomat offered condolences to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery for the injured people.

Sabah, for his part, thanked Cameron for his warm feelings.
