Kuwaiti Ambassador to Venezuela Mohammad Al-Shabu presented his credentials on Wednesday to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago as Non-Resident Ambassador. The ambassador conveyed greetings of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago President Dr. George Maxwell Richards and its people. In turn, President George expressed thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir and the State of Kuwait for its role in bolstering democracy and the exceptional role of women in society. President George expressed interest in developing cooperation with Kuwait in all political, social, education, and economic fields. Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti ambassador met with Trinidad and Tobago Foreign Minister Winston Dookeran and Al-Shabu conveyed greetings of Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. The meeting between the two also discussed bolstering cooperation between the two countries in all areas.
