Kuwait Permanent Delegate to the Arab League Ambassador Jamal Al-Ghoneim stressed the importance of the draft work paper for the proposed second Geneva conference on Syria The draft was worked out by the Arab ministerial committee on Syria during its meeting here on May 23, he said in statements to KUNA Wednesday night following the emergency meeting of the Arab foreign ministers. \"It includes a number of important proposals that could help ensure the success of the Geneva II Conference,\" Ambassador Al-Ghoneim noted. On the just-ended ministerial meeting he said it charted a road map for the international gathering likely to take place in Geneva in July. \"The Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Al-Arabi tabled to the meeting a detailed report on the outcomes of his contacts with the various international stakeholders in Syria,\" he revealed. Al-Arabil conveyed to the foreign ministers the suggestion of the UN-League Joint Special Envoy for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi to convene an expanded meeting on June 25 to prepare for the Geneva meeting, Ambassador Al-Ghoneim added. The State of Kuwait was represented at the Arab ministerial meeting by Director of the Foreign Ministry\'s Arab Homeland Dept. Ambassador Jamal Al-Ghanem along with Al-Ghoneim, Advisor to the Diplomatic Mission to the League and Ahmad Al-Bakr and First Secretary of the Mission Saud Al-Harbi.
