First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met here on Wednesday Finnish Minister for International Development Pekka Haavisto, currently on a visit to Kuwait to attend the Second Kuwait Pledging Conference for Syria. The meeting tackled the bilateral Kuwaiti-Finnish relations and means to boost them in various domains and the international efforts to resolve the crisis in Syria and to alleviate the suffering of desperate Syrian people. Also attended the meeting were Head of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Office Amb. Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah and a number of senior officials at the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry.
