Interior Ministry forces, backed by police patrols and special forces, conducted an inspection campaign on Tuesday in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh suburb which resulted in the arrest of 420 people violating their work and residency permits, as well as wanted criminals. The Interior ministry said in a statement some of those arrested were wanted for crimes they had committed, like theft or violating the residency status. The statement noted that the campaign was based on directives by Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and security plans by the interior ministry. The statement said the campaign was was successful and achieved its objectives
