Al-Falah Charitable Society in Palestine delivered Kuwaiti aid supplies to poor families and those facing difficulties in Gaza Strip over the past few days, a statement Wednesday said. The aid contained food, Zakat money, charity items, and sponsorships for poor families and orphans, all part of the \"Ramadan Al-Khair\" Kuwaiti charity project supported by donors in Kuwait and organized by the society. The project also provides daily break-fast (Iftar) meals. Head of the Society Sheikh Ramadan Tanboora said the project aims to help poor families overcome the difficulty faced daily just to secure their essential needs and to survive. He noted that many families in Gaza Strip live in tragic conditions and need aid not only in Ramadan, but throughout the year. The society praised Kuwait\'s continuous charity and donations to help Palestinians. Moreover, families who received the aid thanked the society and all those who lent a helping hand, saying that the aid came at very hard times due to the Israeli siege on Gaza which is augmenting poverty and deepening the tragic humanitarian state of affairs.
