Kuwaiti Ambassador to Australia Khaled Al-Shibani has voiced satisfaction at current level of bilateral ties bonding the State of Kuwait with the nation. The ambassador praised status of the Kuwaiti-Australian ties during a reception, held by the Kuwaiti diplomatic mission in Australia, marking the 53rd Anniversary of Kuwait's Independence and the 23rd Liberation Day Anniversaries as well as the eighth Anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's proclamation as Amir of Kuwait. Contacted by telephone, ambassador Al-Shibani told KUNA that the formal reception was attended by a large number of Australian Government officials, parliament members, businessmen, diplomats and Kuwaiti students studying in Australia. Two of the students, Abdul-Hadi Bou-Sakher and Ahmad Al-Bloushi, gifted the mission a memorial painting on the national occasions. For his part, the ambassador extended congratulations to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti Government and people, wishing the State of Kuwait ever-lasting development and prosperity.
