Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Minister of State for Municipal affairs Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said Wednesday that His Highness the Amir has ordered the Cabinet to offer Egypt urgent aid worth USD four billion. Speaking to KUNA, the Minister said that in implementation of the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Council of Ministers adopted a decision to provide urgent aid for Egypt to help the people cope with the ongoing conditions and their consequent repercussions. Sheikh Mohammed said the urgent aid consists of a USD two billion deposit in Egypt\'s Central Bank, a USD one billion grant and USD one billion worth of oil and its derivatives as a grant. He said that the provision of such aid comes in solidarity of the people of Kuwait with the Egyptian people in the face of the critical situation and suffering. He stressed full confidence in the ability of the Egyptian people to overcome this ordeal, maintain national unity and work together to protect Egypt\'s security and stability and bring back Egypt strong as it has always been to practice its vital role at the Arab and international levels.
