Kuwait Finance Minister Anas Al-Saleh held talks in Paris Monday with French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault on ways of boosting bilateral relations, particularly in the economic domain.Al-Saleh, speaking to KUNA and Kuwait TV following the meeting, said he conveyed greetings of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to Ayrault, and affirmed deep-rooted relations between the two countries.Al-Saleh is in Paris to co-chair a meeting of the Economic and Trade Ministerial Committee with French Minister of Foreign Trade Nicole Bricq. The meeting began at experts' level earlier today.He said his meeting with Ayrault was held on sidelines of the committee meeting, and dealt with a host of economic issues of mutual interest.Al-Saleh, accompanied by a delegation from the public and private sectors, said he conveyed some demands of Kuwait's private sector and the Public Invesment Authority aimed at initiating investment projects in France as well as boosting trade exchange. The two countries will discuss during the ministerial committee meetings how to develop financial, trade and investment cooperation, as well as in domains of development, industry, planning and information technology. They will also review a number of memoranda of understanding.
