The Head of the Ministry of Interior team of the Kuwaiti pilgrimage (hajj) mission, Brigadier Bader Baker Al-Najjar, stressed here his keenness on inspecting safety measures taken by the Kuwaiti missions. He told KUNA that the ministry mission, including a team from the General Department of Fire Services, is inspecting the 73 national hajj missions to ensure their abidance by the safety measures. Teams of the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs are continuously examining the expeditions, he affirmed. Safety measures that should be adhered to by the mission include possession of fire extinguishers, emergency exits and secure electric wiring. In case the mission directors do not abide by those measures, they will be receiving a registration of violation, he said. He thanked the Kuwaiti hajj missions\' organizers for their cooperation and understating of the nature of the inspecting trams tasks. He stressed on the importance of spreading awareness among the pilgrims about the precautionary measures. The civil defense held in Kuwait special training courses for organizers and workers of hajj missions on safety measures and first aid, he mentioned. He called on the pilgrims to avoid risky actions during the practice of pilgrim rituals, like stampede, and use of gas grills at unsecure locations. Al-Najjar hailed the great care offered by the government of the Custodian of two Holy Mosques King Abdullah to the pilgrims
