Relations between Kuwait and Hungary are excellent and both states are willing to further enhance the bilateral ties in the near future, said Undersecretary of Kuwait\'s Ministry of Finance Khalifa Hamad here Wednesday. Speaking to KUNA in an interview, the official said that his meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was very fruitful and reflected the Hungarian authority\'s interest in developing relations with Kuwait. He noted that Prime Minister Orban was keen on supporting any initiatives by the Hungarian-Kuwaiti joint committee, adding that the Hungarian leader also expressed his country\'s desire to enhance relations with Kuwait within the private and public sector domains. In regards to the joint committee\'s meeting, the Kuwaiti official indicated that several agreements within the IT, education, and research domains are to be signed at the conclusion of the meeting. The official also pointed out that the Kuwaiti participants in the meeting briefed their Hungarian counterparts on Kuwait\'s development plan and offered Hungary to partake in joint ventures within the framework of the plan.
