A large number of Syrians fled to Lebanon through its northeastern border Tuesday as a result of the Syrian army chasing rebels, reported the National News Agency. The NNA said the Syrians were fleeing through to Mashaari al-Qaa and that the Lebanese Army has beefed up its presence along the border. Meanwhile, Hezbollah’s Al-Manar reported that a Syrian army crackdown in Syria’s Al-Quseir, which borders Lebanon, forced “hundreds” of rebels to flee into Lebanon. From: The Daily Star
