Speaker of Iran's Shura Council, Ali Larijani, reiterated his country's support to finding a peaceful solution to the crisis in Syria through dialogue, slamming those who persist with sending terrorists, weapons and money to destroy Syria. "After two years of the crisis in Syria, the terrorists' supporters have perceived that this way is of no use and that it is necessary to resort to dialogue and accept whatever results that come out of the elections, and this Iran's stance too," Larijani told reporters at the Iranian Empassy in New Delhi. He stressed that democracy can't be established through tanks, armored vehicles and weapons funded by monarchies, and this makes one conclude that the issue is not one of democracy but of other goals. He clarified that some countries seek to take over the oil sources and dominate its passages in the world, warning that there are countries which want to control other developing countries by various means. Earlier during his meeting with the Indian President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday, Larijani called to resort to dialogue for solving the crisis in Syria instead of the military solution and the use of force. Larijani said that the two sides had convergent views in regards to the importance of dialogue as the only way for solving the crisis in Syria. He added that Iran believes in enhancing democracy that the people in Syria aspire to. Iranian Ambassador in Lebanon, Ghazanfar Rokn Abadi, reiterated on Thursday that dialogue in Syria is the only way to solve the crisis far from all forms of foreign interference. Rokn Abadi said in a speech during a celebration in al-Nabatieh town that pressures will not undermine Iran's determination to support Syria and confront the Zionist conspiracy which is aimed at undermining Syria's strategic stance on supporting the resistance.
