The last two Sudanese persons held in the US Guantanamo detention facility would be freed and are expected to return home next Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry said Sunday. Mohammad Nour Othman and Ibrahim Othman Ibrahim will be arriving on board an American airplane at dawn on Wednesday, Ministry spokesman Abu Bakr Al-Seddiq Mohammad Al-Ameen said in a statement. He said the release of the two Sudanese citizens came after a meeting between Sudanese foreign minister Ali Ahmad Karti and his American counterpart John Kerry in October this year Karti, said Al-Ameen, called on Kerry to speed up the release of Othman and Ibrahim, who have been in Guantanamo for 11 years
