Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday met with his New Zealand peer Murray McCully on the sidelines of the 24th ministerial meeting for foreign and trade ministers of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), currently held in the Russian city of Vladivostok. The two officials discussed bilateral relations, including talks aiming at concluding the free trade agreement between member states of the custom union and New Zealand, in addition to some international issues, notably the situation in Syria.
