Moscow - SANA
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Tuesday said the calls for a no-fly zone and \"humanitarian corridors\" in Syria serve the extremists in the region and hinder the efforts to hold the upcoming international conference on Syria in Geneva. Lavrov considered in an interview with the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA that issuing documents placing full responsibility on the Syrian authorities for what is happening in Syria and the announcement of intentions to arm the \"Syrian opposition\" as well as the calls for a no-fly zone and \"humanitarian corridors\" do not help preparations for the international conference. He added that those behind these calls and moves should realize that their steps practically match with what al-Qaeda terrorists and other extremists are doing on the ground. Lavrov pointed out in the interview, which was published on the Russian Foreign Ministry\'s website, that the terrorists and extremists are carrying out bloody terrorist acts and sectarian killings to hinder the conference, referring to a massacre which terrorist groups recently. committed in Hatla village in Deir Ezzor.
