Los Angeles International Airport authorities confirmed via Twitter Friday that a suspect is in police custody, about an hour and a half after gunshots were heard in Terminal 3 of the airport. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said President Barack Obama has been briefed on the situation, but had no further details to add. Inbound and outbound flights were temporarily grounded, but some aircraft are now landing. The airport has been blocked off from all ground traffic. It remains unclear how many people were injured, but one of those shot was a TSA agent. Passengers have been moved to a secure area for their protection. Officials are expected to hold a press conference shortly
