Jordanian King Abdullah II received a wave of cables of greetings from several leaders of Arab and Islamic leaders on the occasion marking the 69th Independence Day.

Jordan won its full independence from the British mandate and was declared a Kingdom on May 25, 1946.

In the cables, the leaders underlined the distinguished ties binding Jordan and their countries and affirmed their keenness on promoting these relations.
