A number of artillery shell rounds from the Syrian army landed on a number of Lebanese border towns on Thursday. Lebanon news agency quoted local media as saying that the shelling targeted Akkar area, and did not cause any casualties. Since the start of the Syrian crisis on March 2011, a number of Lebanese border towns were targeted with shelling, artillery, and missiles coming from the Syrian side.
