Lebanese Prime Minister Tamam Salam met Friday with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his accompanying delegation.

German Ambassador here Christian Clages attended the meeting.

The get-together took up the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, conditions of the Syrian refugees and the work of the German battalion participating in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
