Lebanese President Michel Sleiman conferred with Japanese Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Takao MAKINO. During the meeting, they discussed the relations between the two countries.The Japanese official reiterated his country’s support for President Sleiman’s role to maintain stability and unity in Lebanon and his efforts to form a new government, in addition to Japan’s support to the Declaration of Baabda.Takao MAKINO began Beirut’s visit on Thursday.
